Centralization of access to scientific and technical expertise and knowledge
An open national distance learning platform dedicated to HPC, HPDA and AI will be developed, equipped with courses and training materials relevant to HPC, AI and HPDA, based on Moodle as an open source learning management system. The platform will provide easy access to developed courses and training materials, will be used as support for training, and will support courses for independent learning of the interested audience.
The platform will be available to all stakeholders, including academic institutions, the private sector, public administration, as well as civic scientists to continuously expand their knowledge in the mentioned areas and apply it in overcoming their daily challenges.
The National Competency Center (NCC) will help reformulate scientific problems to allow scaling to much larger resources than are used today. NCC will assist in educating business entities about HPC technical adoption and provide HPC consulting, GPU acceleration, and data handling requirements.
The NCC will focus on assisting small and medium-sized enterprises in reaping the competitive benefits of using HPC, and the HPC eco-system industry will be developed. Seminars will be organized to share best practices and examples of HPC use in industry. The NCC will build industry awareness of HPC and GPU competencies across the country and identify technology transfer strategies from academia.
